Moose Rider Strong!!

Mike Warner Breakfast Challenge

This is a friendly competition between Moose Rider Groups, that awards the winning group bragging rights for a year. All monies donated will be given to a charity in the name of the group that sells the most breakfast. All while given back to our lodges, and communities.

Trophy Challenge

The Trophy Challenge is a friendly little fundraiser to help generate money for the IMA to help them support the Illinois house at Moose Heart . Rider groups agree to participate and the game starts at the first breakfast of the MWBC. And rider groups ride from Lodge to Lodge retrieving and dropping off the trophy supporting lodges and communities along the way.

Cruisin For The Heart

Cruisin runs from the Blessing to the end of ride party, We reach out to all lodges in Illinois and surrounding states to see if they want their name in this book. Participants purchase a book and then try to visit all the lodges that are listed for a chance to be entered into a drawing. In order to receive a stamp in the book the participant needs to make a purchase from the lodge. This get individuals to visit lodges that they would not normally think of going to, and at the same time helps to support the lodges that are listed in the book.

Moose Rider of the Year

This is an award that we give every year to the Moose Rider who took the time to visit Moose Lodges throughout the riding season between the blessing of the bikes and End of Ride Party. We ask that when you visit the lodges that you take pictures inside & outside with the name and number of the lodge, if you can get a picture with the lodge Administrator, President, Pilgram in jacket (Yellow), Fellow in jacket (Blue)or even a Moose Rider if the lodge has a group, these all add points to your quest! All pictures should be sent to imamrpres@hotmil.com subject line: MROY be sure to include the name of everyone you take a phot with. Awards will be given at the following years summer bash party.

Summer Bash  

This is a Party at the end of the Year where all Moose Rider Groups of Illinois gather and just have fun. This is usually a 2-day event. On Saturday there will be dinner entertainment, raffles, 50/50, Awards, for the Breakfast Challenge, Trophy Challenge, and MROY. On Sunday we will have a Quarterly meeting. The Hosting Lodge incurs most of the cost and profits with the exception of the above-mentioned festivities. 2024 Summer Bash will be hosted By Edwardsville Moose Riders & Lodge, and will be taking pre-orders for dinner, they will be having a Steak Dinner so we will need to pay in advance because of the cost. The Edwardsville Moose Riders will also be putting together a ride on Saturday mid-morning. They have already reached out to the Local MCs to let them know that we will be in the area that weekend so that everyone can be at ease and have fun. Edwardsville will have camping available and will have access to washrooms, the flyers will be out soon.

Lodge Visitation 

Each participant who purchases a Booklet will attempt to visit as many of the lodges listed in the booklet between the Blessing of the Bikes and the Endor Ride Party. We are asking that each Person with a book make a purchase of some kind or a donation to the Lodge in order to receive a Stamp in the book. This fund raiser is to help generate business for lodges that you would not normally visit, it is truly a great way to get out and ride, meet people, get new ideas, spread information about the Moose Riders, and just have FUN!!! There are prizes handed out at the end of ride party, and all monies raised will be donated at the following years Blessing!
